Our History

For over 40 years, Gunder Associates has been a staple in the HVAC industry among distributors, top engineers, contractors, and manufacturers.

Marshall Gunder starts Gunder Associates with only three product lines.
1980
1985
Gunder continues to expand successfully during political and economic instability.
Marshall and sales team celebrate 11 years and have grown enough to hire the first official office staff member.
1991
1998
Gunder Associates acquires office out of Monterrey, Mexico.

Mark Gunder joins the family business.
Gunder Associates has grown to 15 staff members and expanded territories in the Southwest region.
1999
2000
Gunder Associates celebrates 20 years.
Moved offices to Carrollton/Farmers Branch.
2002
2006
Gunder installs state of the art training center for its customers and contractors.
Robert Gunder joins the family business.
2007
2010
Gunder celebrates 30 years of growth.
Mark transitions into running Gunder Associates.
2011
2017
Mark and Robert purchase Gunder Associates from Marshall.
Mark becomes President and Robert becomes Vice President of Sales.
2018
2019
Marshall officially retires.
Gunder celebrates 40 years in the industry.
2020
2020
Covid pandemic hits. Gunder responds with increased technology and efficiencies.
Gunder adds two full-time product specialist/technical services advisors to its staff.
